February 2017. The SHC Solar Award of the IEA SHC Programme celebrates the work of those committed to increasing the expansion of this renewable energy source.

Nominations Open for the 2017 SHC Solar Award

The 2017 Solar Award will spotlight a successful program or policy measure that supports solar heating and cooling.  The 2017 Award will be presented at the SHC 2017 conference in Abu Dhabi, October 29 – November 2.

This year’s recipient will have demonstrated substantial achievement and measurable market impact from a program/policy measure (e.g., incentives, fiscal measures, building codes, standards, R&D/demonstrations) implemented in the last 5-10 years to support solar heating and cooling.

Nominations may for an individual or an organization/entity responsible for implementing a program or policy measure that positively impacted the solar heating and cooling market. Nominations will be accepted for municipal, regional, provincial and national entities.

*Nominees shall have shown outstanding leadership or achievements that support the goals of the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme.
